Lou Frolo

Lou 'Lugers" Frolo, 88, of Ambridge, died Tuesday evening July 18, 2017, in Beaver Elder Care and Rehab with his family by his side.

Born August 28, 1928, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Ludwig and Amelia Frolo, he served with the U.S. Marine Corp in World War II and the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Agnes Ardell (Kato) Frolo; a son and daughter-in- law, Eric and Hayden Frolo, Georgia; two daughters, Amy Frolo and DeAnna Frolo, both of Ambridge; one granddaughter, Stephanie Frolo and a great-granddaughter, Makinley Smith.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Emily, Irene and Mary.

Friends will be received Friday, July 21, from 12 noon until time of service at 2 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.

Members of the Beaver County Special Unit will meet Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the cemetery to provide full military honors.
