Dorothy L. (Marvich) Matuscak

Dorothy L. 'Dee' Matuscak, 91, formerly of Ambridge, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015, in Monongahela Valley Hospital.

Born June 20, 1923, in Burgettstown, a daughter of the late Frank and Anne Marvich, she was a member of the Good Samaritan Church and the Christian Mothers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Matuscak, on March 29, 1998, and a son, Bucky Matuscak, in 1973.

Surviving are two sons, Randolph and Chrystal Matuscak, Donora, PA, and Marcus Matthews and Gina Sauro, Astoria, NY; four grandchildren, Adam Klauder, Arlington, VA; Maria Matuscak, Windsor, Ontario; Marissa and Matthew Matuscak, both of Pittsburgh; five great-grandchildren, Caroline Klauder, William Klauder, Maggie Klauder, Christopher Klauder and Theresa Pauline Matuscak, and one sister and brother-in-law, Irma 'Babe' and Eugene Raggi, Slovan, PA.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Church.

Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.

The Christian Mothers will recite a rosary Monday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
