Hello. My name is Cindy Sallis & I live in Midland, Pa. First, let me express my sincerest condolences to the family. Second, I stumbled upon this link as I was trying to find information about my mother's family. My mother (Vernell Annie Grace Johnson Allen) passed away May 8 2016. She was a first cousin to Christine Shaw. I know that Christine's father & my mother's father (Eulis James Johnson) are brothers. My mother always told me & my siblings about her close relationship with Christine & how they sang together in a group (The Four Notes Quartet) when they were younger. Many prayers to the family & I hope God is still giving everyone the strength to deal with your loss. Take care.

I am so sorry to be so late posting this, but I forgot they do guest books like this now. Talking to your brother today brought back memories and reminded me of beautiful and graceful she was. She turned me on to bee pollen vitamins. I have them on my shopping list. May your strength overcome your sorrows in time. My prayers are with your family.

I did not know Sis. Shaw, but I share her faith. I am also a former resident of Michigan, so to her daughters in Michigan and her other dear loved ones, remember the scripture she must have shared often, Revelation 21:3,4...we look forward to the day when we shed no more tears of sorrow. My heartfelt condolences to all friends and family.
