Cassandra “Sandy” Farrow Wachtel, 76, of Baden, passed on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in UPMC Passavant, North Hills.

A wife, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Wachtel was born on April 24, 1938, in New Brighton to the late Charles and Eva Oliver Farrow. She was a member of New Brighton High School, class of 1955.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Wachtel; a grandson, Joseph Aegan; two sisters, Barbara Hardwick and Lois Valvano, and five brothers, Roy Farrow, who was killed in action during the Korean War, Bill, Gail, Frank and Bob Farrow.

Cassandra is survived by her two daughters, and a son-in-law, Glenys and Thomas Fogelsonger, Wampum, and Penny Shirk, Ellwood City; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Epling, New Castle, and Jeff and Billie Jo Epling, Spencer, WV; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons, and a brother and sister-in-law, John D. “Butch” and Mary Farrow, Rochester.

There will be no viewing.
