Raymond H. Thornton

Raymond H. Thornton, 73, formerly of Leetsdale, died Friday, July 21, 2017, in UPMC Mercy Hospital.

Born January 3, 1944, in Wheeling, W.Va., a son of the late Harry and Margaret Thornton Ayres, he was a school bus driver for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Baker Thornton; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Patricia and Larry Mason and Sherri Lenhart and Robert Rafalko, all of Monongahela, Pa.; four step-granddaughters, Stephanie (Chris) Casteel, Jennifer Lenhart, and her fiancé, Alex Bezy, and Alyssa and Megan Lenhart; and two step-great-granddaughters, Aleah, and Mikeala Castille.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, with the Rev. Cletus Fahrion officiating.
