Philip P. Neforos, 51, of Economy Borough, died Friday, May 13, 2016, in Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born July 18, 1964, in Sewickley, a son of Angeline Sotiriou Neforos, Economy Borough and the late Pete (Pano) Neforos, he was retired from Local No. 368 IUPAT. He was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, the Polish Falcons Nest No. 182, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Pete Neforos, Washington, D.C.; Philip and Megan Neforos, Waldorf, MD; Dennis Neforos, Laurel, MD; one grandson, Mason; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Speros and Margaret Neforos, Manassas, VA; John and Gaye Neforos, Harmony Township; one sister, Argie Neforos, Economy Borough; his former wife of 28 years, Yong Suk Phelphs, Newburg, MD.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Alexander Neforos, on March 6, 1991.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with the Rev. Father Emmanuel Lillios, officiating.
Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.
A Trisagion service will be held Sunday at 5:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 11 a.m. at the cemetery to provide full military honors.
