Judith E. (Blanarik) Tomei

The Lord has opened His kingdom of Heaven to welcome his daughter, Judith Ellen Blanarik Tomei, back home on April 23, 2015.

Judy was born in Ambridge on April 25, 1941 to her loving parents, Robert and Josephine Blanarik. Judy has been married to her high school sweetheart, Albert "Sonny" Tomei, for an amazing 55 years. Survived by her older brother, Robert Blanarik; daughter and son-in-law and their children, Abby and Thomas Hardy and Marissa, Thomas and fianceé Kelsie Kegg; a son and his children, Joseph Tomei, Sarah and Nick Scavo, Josh and fianceé Megan Digman, Maggie, Matt, and Alex and a son and his son, Jeff Tomei and Iziah; four great-grandchildren and cousins.

Judy is a beautiful soul and will be missed tremendously. A beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, a best friend, and a breathtaking woman will forever be in our hearts and on our minds.

"I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the way…of happy times and laughing times, of bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun… of happy memories that I leave when life on earth is done."

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at the Baden United Methodist Church lead by Judy's close friend, Pastor Jill McGregor. There will be no arrangements following the memorial service. Memorial gifts may be made in Judy Tomei's honor to the Baden United Methodist Church, 420 Dippold Ave., Baden, PA 15005.
