Raymond Paul Timchak

Raymond Paul Timchak, 73, of Hopewell Twp., died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.

Born September 11, 1941, in Rochester, a son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Robinsky Timchak, he was retired from Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel, Westec and Industrial Machine Works. He was very profound with the Catholic faith and was a member of various prayer groups especially the Padre Pio group. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Ray was a devoted husband and father, and his greatest joy was his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Sovich Timchak; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Leslie Timchak, St. Marys, PA; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Frances Timchak, Moon Twp.; Rosemary and William George, Elizabeth and Tory Kelly, and Monica and William Blue, all of Hopewell Twp.; 23 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Cynthia Lee, and a nephew, Jody Lee, both of Leetsdale.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL HOME INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday at 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. in the Good Samaritan Church.

Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery. The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 12:15 p.m. at the cemetery to provide full military honors.
