William J. Christner

Bill (Billy) Christner, 68, of Harmony Twp., passed away Sunday December 7, 2025 into the arms of Jesus. Born William James Christner to Robert Henry Christner and Connie Lou Wensel Christner in Sewickley on January 15, 1957. A graduate of Ambridge Area High School. Bill was a truck driver, lived life the way he wanted. He liked to hunt, fish, camp and listen to music and be with family and friends. Bill followed Penn State football, Steelers and the Penguins. Also a music fan of classic rock, especially Jeff Beck. Surviving are two brothers, Bob of Altoona, Jeff of Lewistown and one sister, Barbara "Bunny", of Arizona, many other family members. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 14, 2026 at 12:30pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Burial will take place in Sewickley Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Presbyterian Hospital staff and Jamie Christner and Megan Bell for their care and support they gave Bill.
