Virginia R. Dewar, 84, of Baden, died Friday March 31, 2023, Concordia at Villa St Joseph. Born June 17, 1938, Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Stella Giknis Rogers. She was retired from American Bridge Company, attended Lighthouse Lutheran Church, Freedom, was a volunteer at Villa St Joseph and also at Good Samaritan Church as a pierogi worker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Dewar and a son-in-law, Duane Morris. Surviving are three step-daughters, Cynthia Morris, Bell Acres Boro, Sharon and Bruce Ehemann, Hopewell Twp., Amy and Todd Daczkowski, Lake Wylie, SC, one brother, Frank Rogers, Aliquippa, five grandchildren, Beth (Brian) Benson, Joni (Tim) Hostetter, Joel (Breonna) Belfiore, Christopher and Natalie Daczkowski, four great-grandchildren, Jake, Ian, Luke and Jack, two nieces, Kelly Rogers, Aliquippa, Amanda and Robert Szymoniak, Baden, three great-nephews, Noah, Connor and Logan. Family will receive friends Wednesday April 5, 2023 from 10:00am until time of memorial service at 11:00am at Lighthouse Lutheran Church, Freedom.
