Thomas W. Bender

Thomas W. Bender ,94, of Ambridge, died Thursday July 14,2022 , Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born September 22, 1927, Sewickley, he was the son of the late Aloysius and Edna Davis Bender. He was retired from Armco Steel, member of Good Samaritan Church and was the first Eucharistic minister in Beaver County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Isabel Marie Bender, four brothers, Robert, Howard, Al and Cliff Bender. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice and Anthony Kyrargyros, Ambridge, Mary and Paul Patterson, Baden, Monica and Ron Robinson, Potter Twp., 10 grandchildren, Jessica(Justin),Marci(Bryan),Heather(Tony),Thomas(Aulbrey),Emily(Mike),Sean(Renee),Matthew(Sabrina),Ryan,Dominique(Tom) and Joseph, 14 great-grandchildren, Julian,Noah,Jaylah,Amelia,Dante,Santino,Lilian,

Nora,Eli,Juliette,Vincent,Silas,Connor and Roman. Friends will be received Tuesday July 19, 2022 from 2-8 BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Wednesday July 20, 2022 at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
