Stephen J. Pollin

Stephen J. Pollin, 77, of Ambridge, died Saturday December 30, 2023, Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. Born December 20, 1946, Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Jack and Margaret Nagy Pollin. He was retired from US Steel and was a US Navy Vietnam veteran. Surviving are his wife, Donna Elchin Pollin, son Stephen S. Pollin, daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Michael Tabachka, all of Harmony Twp., son, Michael J. Pollin and Skylar Corfield, Penn Hills, three grandchildren, Harper, Alexander and Connor, one brother, David Pollin, Maryland, two sisters and brother-in-law, Sandy McPherson, Delaware, Carol and Norm Davis, Florida, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Rose Elchin, Ambridge, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Annie and Jim Welling, South Heights and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Nitch. Friends will be received Monday January 8, 2024 from 3-7, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, followed by a funeral service at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in his memory. The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 4:00pm at the funeral home, to provide full military honors.
