Stephen Michael Brunner

. Stephen Michael Brunner, 60, of Ambridge, was welcomed home by the angels on Tuesday August 10,2021, Heritage Valley Beaver. Born January 5,1961, Sewickley, he was the son of Christine Watach Brunner, Ambridge and the late William E. Brunner. He was a member of St Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church. Stephen was a loving and generous son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and companion to so many people. He had a sharp sense of humor and always kept us laughing. He was willing to offer a helping hand to whoever needed it. He loved his dog Winston and liked to travel and play golf. But most of all, we are so proud of all Stephen accomplished in his life. Stephen completely overcame a drug and alcohol addiction by attending Gateway Rehabilitation Center and went on to live a wonderful and fulfilling life. We are so grateful for the time we had with him and look forward to seeing him in Heaven. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Maureen and Lawrence Padgett, Center Twp., five nephews, Jason Gross, Brandon(Jessica), Sean (Monette), Adam and Nathaniel Padgett, one niece, Chelsea Padgett,dear friend, Barbara. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother William H. Brunner. Friends will be received Thursday August 12,2021,from  4-7 BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES,INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave.,Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday August 13,2021 at 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00am, St Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church. Parastas service will be held Thursday at 4:00pm in the funeral Home.
