Rose (Vasylovski) Hakawczyn

Rose Hakawczyn, 95, of Ambridge, passed peacefully in her sleep on October 5, 2024. Born June 11, 1929, Johnstown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Karl and Sophie (Halyko) Vasylovski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mychajlo Hakawczyn, brothers, Frank (Hedi) and Mike (Mary) Vasylovski and sisters, Katherine Vasylovski, Irene (Zane) Jesersky, Mary (Joe) Andrus, Ann (Nick) Kulic and Patricia (Steve) Waclo. Surviving is her son Michael Hakawczyn and daughters, Maria (Regis) Potts, Katherine (John) Bohme. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday October 11, 2024 at 11:30am, St Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St Peter & Paul Cemetery.
