Robert V. Appel

Robert V. Appel, 71, of Ambridge, died Tuesday February 14, 2023, Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born February 11, 1952, Sewickley, he was the son of the late Robert and Regina Pisano Appel. He was retired from the Ambridge Police Department, the Office of the Inspector General and was the head of security at Canonsburg Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Pfeifer Appel, two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert V. II and Ashton Appel, Baden, Scotty and Michelle Appel, North Fayette, one granddaughter, Autumn Appel, North Fayette, one brother and sister-in-law, Fred and Mary Jane Appel, one sister and brother-in-law, Francine and Art Pratt, all of Hopewell Twp., his beloved dog, Bailey and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Richard Appel. Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 & 6:00pm until time of service at 7:30pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge.
