Pleas W. Turk, 86, of Ambridge, died Sunday March 7,2021, Good Samaritan Hospice,Wexford. Born April 17,1934, Pittsboro, NC. He was the son of the late Pleas "Buster" and Mary Bessie Perry Turk. He was retired from J&L Steel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bernice Turk, one brother, Curtis E. Turk and one sister Mary Elizabeth Young. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Motesse Turk, Brandon,FL, two grandchildren, Kendall Turk and Karlil Wilson, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph Turk,Harrisburg, James and Rachael Turk, Raleigh,NC, John Turk, Philadelphia, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sarah T. Witherspoon, King Of Prussia, Marie T. and Curtis Coates, Columbia,MD, Helen T. and Glenard Salters, King Of Prussia, and many nieces and nephews. A private family viewing was held Wednesday March 10,2021 at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES,INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave.,Ambridge. Interment followed at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
