Patricia M. (Martin) Allman

Patricia M. (Martin) Allman, 101, died Wednesday August 19, 2026, Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. Born September 25, 1924, Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Caroline Martin. She was a devoted housewife and mother to her 12 children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, sons, Michael and John and several brothers and sisters. Surviving are her brother Tom Martin and sister, Mary Lipinski, sons, Bill (Sharon), Steve (Bridget) and Jim, daughters, Peg (Joe),Sue, Nora, Barb (Nick), Mary, Caroline and Jen, daughter-in-law, Alice, dear family friend, Mary K. Kelly and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She always wanted to have a large family and devoted herself to making her home a welcoming place. Always one to reuse items, you couldn’t visit without taking a bag of clothing, a  book, a magazine, or some other item with you. She was always ready to share conversation at the kitchen table with a cup of tea. She was an avid reader and would get a bag full of books from the Cranberry library. She lived an extraordinary 101 years, surrounded by the love of her children and grandchildren, who have blessed her life. In her final days, a longstanding problem with swelling in her legs, led to a serious infection. Despite treatment, the infection and its complications took a tremendous toll on her body. After 101 years of strength, perseverance, faith and love, she simply no longer had the strength to continue the fight. We take comfort in knowing that her earthly suffering is now over. Her long journey in this life has come to an end, and we entrust her into the loving arms of God. May perpetual light shine upon her and may she rest in peace. Friends will be received Saturday August 22, 2026 from 2:00pm- 4:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A Blessing Service will follow at 4:00pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, in her memory.
