Nancy Catherine Sherba, 77, of Ambridge, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, March 2, 2025. Born on November 29th, 1947, she was the daughter of the late James P. and Anna C. Robbins of Pittsburgh. She was a graduate of Quaker Valley High School class of 1965. Beloved wife of Michael Sherba for thirty-five years. Loving mother to Lori (Robert) Miller, Harmony Township, Colleen Johnson-Liggett, Moon Township and Ronald Johnson, Jr., Fair Oaks. Grandmother to Alexander Liggett, Ryan and Sean Miller. Sister to Georgianne (Ralph) Incrocci of Dyersburg, Tennessee and James (Elaine) Robbins of Ross. Sister-in-law to Gary Sherba (Wanda Harvan) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Mike and Kay Sherba, a great-niece, Nicole Incrocci, and dear life-long friend, Anna Lee Oswald. Nancy worked for many years as a van driver for HAP Enterprises and later as a shuttle driver for Pittsburgh International Airport until she retired. She enjoyed playing bingo, crossword puzzles and Saturday movie nights with her son. She was an avid reader, Stephen King being her favorite author. She was kind and accepted people for who they were. She had a beautiful smile and gentle hand. Nancy was a woman of faith and often said that when the time came for her to leave this life, not to be sad for her, because it meant she was with Jesus in everlasting life, where there was no pain. While we grieve her loss and will miss her terribly, we also smile and take comfort in knowing that she is dancing in heaven. Friends will be received Friday March 7, 2025, from 1:00-3:00, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will follow at 3:00pm.
