Mildred T. (Towcimak) Metelsky

Mildred T. “Mingie” Metelsky, 88, of Economy Boro, died Wednesday February 16, 2022, Mt Assisi Place, Bellevue. Born November 20, 1933, Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Evans Towcimak. She worked as a physical therapist for many years and was a member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Metelsky, one sister, Martha Rapso and her dog, Red. Surviving are one sister, Dorothy Zang, Colorado and many nieces, nephews, cousins, who she cared for deeply and also many wonderful caring neighbors. Friends will be received Friday February 18, 2022 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am, Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, with the Very Rev Fr. William Evansky, officiating. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Ghost Orthodox Church in her memory.
