Michaelene R. (Rapso) Scheponik

Michaelene R. Scheponik, 76, of Economy Boro, died Friday August 28, 2026, PAM Health Specialty, Beaver. Born December 6, 1949, Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Martha Towcimak Rapso. She was retired from Highmark and a member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church. Surviving is her husband, Michael Scheponik, three sons and daughter-in-law, Erik Scheponik, Bryan Scheponik, Shawn and Leah Scheponik, all of Belle Vernon, one daughter, Jennifer Montellanico, Ambridge, two grandchildren, Nicole (Omar) Hashimi, Flynn Scheponik, two great-grandchildren, Easton and Emeric Hashimi and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Arianna Michaelene Montellanico, one brother, Gary Rapso and one sister, Jackie Rapso. Friends will be received Monday August 31, 2026 from 2-4 & 5-7, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.,1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. An Orthodox Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am in the funeral home, with Very Rev Fr William Evansky, officiating. Interment will follow Economy Cemetery. A Parastas Service will held Monday at 7:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, in her memory.
