Michael Ehnatko

Michael Ehnatko, 98, formerly of Ambridge, died Wednesday January 25, 2023, in St. Louis. Born October 10, 1924, Charleroi, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Julia Zabawsky Ehnatko. He was a financial advisor for Principal Financial Group and a member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church. He received an Associate Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, he served as a first Lieutenant in the Air Force as a radar navigator bombardier during WW II. On return to civilian life, he worked for 8 years as a Pa State Trooper and also served in the US Air Force Reserves for 10 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Ehnatko, one brother John Ehnatko and one sister, Ann Mihalko. Surviving are one daughter, Karen Ann Mulroy and Joseph W. Mulroy, Ellisville, MO. Friends will be received Tuesday January 31, 2023 from 4:00pm until time of Parastas Service at 7:30pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Translation of the body to follow to Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2023, with the Very Rev Fr William Evansky, officiating. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 11:30am at the cemetery, to provide full military honors.
