Melvin W. McFarland

Melvin W. McFarland, 83, of Baden, died Tuesday February 21, 2023, AHN Wexford Hospital. Born March 9, 1939, Coraopolis, he was the son of the late Lewis D. & Ella Martha Phillips McFarland. He was retired from Beaver Valley Builders Supply, member of St. Luke the Evangelist/ St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Baden American Legion #641 and the National Rifles Association. Surviving are his wife, Jeanette P. Scarfone McFarland, four sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth H. and Rhonda McFarland, Sewickley, Michael L. and Sandy McFarland, Freedom, Daniel J. and Chrissy McFarland, Harmony Twp., Patrick and Cindy McFarland, Baden, eight grandchildren, Jessica, Emily, Benjamin, Samantha, Meghan, Jenna, Alexa, Carter, three great-grandchildren, Addison, Kate and Austin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard, Richard, Harry McFarland and his beloved buddy schnauzer, Max. Friends will be received Friday February 24, 2023 from 2:00pm until time of Blessing Service at 5:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. The Beaver County Special Unit will meet at 3:00pm at the funeral home, to provide full military honors.
