Mary Louise Ross, 78, of Ambridge, died Saturday July 1, 2023, Heritage Valley Sewickley, with her loving son Chris by her side. Born December 8, 1944, Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Fedorko and was a lifelong resident of Ambridge and Baden. Mary was a 1962 graduate of Ambridge Area High School and worked for JCPenney, The Ambridge Area School District, Marcink’s Café’, Haglan’s Café’, and then 25 plus years for the Baden American Legion. She was a member of St Luke the Evangelist/ Good Samaritan Church. Mary enjoyed spending time with her friends, going out to dinner, shopping, bingo and steeler games, but most of all enjoyed the time she spent with her granddaughter Allyson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her birth mother, Helen Fedorko at a very young age, her brother Fred Fedorko and her ex-husband and good friend J.C. Ross, in addition to several aunts, uncles and extended family members on both the Fedorko and Ross sides. She is survived by her son, Chris Ross, Ambridge, her granddaughter and favorite person, Allyson Ross, Bellevue, a special aunt, Elizabeth Fedorko, Ambridge, sister-in-law, Miriam Dudiak, Amelia Island, sister-in-law, Michelle Manzo, Center Twp., as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. In addition to all the family and friends who offered their love, support and prayers during Mary’s illness, Chris and Allyson would like to extend special thanks to sister-in-law, Miriam, niece, Norma and special friends, Margaret, Carol, Ev, Tom, John and Cheryl for their assistance in her care and their visits. Also thanks to the staffs of Heritage Valley Sewickley and the Hillman Cancer Center in Beaver and Moon for their care and compassion during her illness. Friends will be received Friday July 14, 2023 from 3-7pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday July 15, 2023 at 10:00am, Good Samaritan Church. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. If so desired, the family suggests contributions to Mary’s favorite charity, St Judes Childrens Hospital.
