Mary (Pekarchik) Nelko

Mary Nelko, 94, of Baden, died Tuesday June 4, 2024, Brighton Rehab & Wellness. Born March 28, 1930, Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Pawlak Pekarchik. She was a member of Holy Ghost Orthodox Church and a longtime member of the Ladies Alter Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Nelko and one brother, Michael Pekarchik. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Debbie Nelko, Alabama, Michael and Sandy Nelko, Hopewell Twp., Alex and Margie Nelko, Economy Boro, two daughters and sons-in-law, Maggie and Joseph Mood, Bellefonte,PA, Marianne and Michael Simcic, Allentown, PA, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday June 6, 2024 from 5:00pm until time of Parastas Service at 7:30pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, Translation to follow to Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 7, 2024 at 10:00am, with Very Rev Fr William Evansky, officiating. Interment will follow Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
