Mary Butrey, 96, of Ambridge, died Saturday March 26, 2022, Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. Born September 10, 1925, Blairsville, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Philip and Mary Samay Chupka. She was a member of Good Samaritan Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Butrey, two brothers, John and Philip Chupka and a son-in-law, Charles Harding. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Frank and Robin Butrey, Bristol,Pa., Robert and Sheri Butrey, Avon, Ohio, Gregory Butrey, Brunswick, Ohio, one daughter, Mary Ann Harding, Ambridge, four grandchildren, Madison, Joshua, Peyton and Nicholas Butrey and numerous nieces and nephews. As per Mary’s wishes, there will be no viewing. A private family viewing and a Mass of Christian Burial at Good Samaritan Church, were held on Tuesday March 29, 2022. Interment followed at Good Samaritan Cemetery. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, was in charge of arrangements.
