Marjory (Mihalich) Karnavas

Marjory Karnavas, 86, of Ambridge, died Saturday April 30, 2022, Concordia at Villa St. Joseph. Born March 3, 1936, Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ahnatko Mihalich. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. She was a loving and devoted caregiver to her family. She enjoyed fishing and time at the beach with her husband. She had a wonderful sense of humor, that continues on thru her family. She was a retired nurse from Sewickley Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Karnavas, grandson, Jacob Wood, son-in-law, Thomas Kirkpatrick and 11 brothers and sisters. Surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, Andrew G. and Linda Karnavas, Bell Acres Borough, three daughters and son-in-law, ZoeAnn Kirkpatrick, Enon Valley, Georgia L. and James Wood, Marietta, Ohio, Emily Karnavas, Baden, six grandchildren, Tom Kirkpatrick, Megan (Andy) Bruno, Elias (Avery) Wood, Jason Connolly, Hannah Connolly, Maura Connolly (Jon Patellis),  six great-grandchildren, Roberta Bruno, Sophia Patellis, Jonathan Patellis, Raynie Wood, Truver Wood, Hayden Wood and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Tuesday May 3, 2022 from 4-8, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Trisagion service will be held at 7:00pm. Private Entombment will take place at Sylvania Hills Mausoleum. A special thanks to Mandy and Saraita as well as the staff at Concordia at Villa St. Joseph and Good Samaritan Hospice. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or Good Samaritan Hospice.
