Lorraine Z. (Sakara) Stragar

Lorraine Z. Stragar, 87, of Fair Oaks, died Friday August 5, 2022, Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born May 25, 1935, McKees Rocks, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Dianna Evich Sakara. She was retired from the New Brighton School District and was a graduate of Geneva College. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John W. Stragar. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jeannette Stragar, New Castle, Eric and Cathy Stragar, Silver Spring, MD, one daughter, Karen Fischer, Athens, Georgia, seven grandchildren, Drew, Siobhan, Colin, Quinn, Joshua, Aaron and Devon and ten great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday August 11, 2022 from 4-7, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a Funeral Service will be held Friday August 12, 2022 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.
