Obituary

Laverna M. Skorija, 86, of Ambridge, died Thursday February 24, 2022, St John Specialty Care, Mars. Born November 14, 1935, Leetsdale, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kanoba Kruzelock. She was a member of St John The Baptist Catholic Church, Baden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Skorija, granddaughter, Jessica Musuta, one brother, Mickey Kruzelock, one sister, Kay Bell. Surviving are one son, Michael Skorija, Warren, Ohio, two daughters, Judy Skorija Moskorisin and Greg Knudson, Center Twp., Mary Cullen, Mars, five grandchildren, John J. and Kody Moskorisin, Virginia, Ryan and Sarah Cullen, CA., Leigh and Wes Waldschmidt, Evan and Piper Cullen, all of Mars, Nicholas Knudson, Center Twp., eight great-grandchildren, two brothers and sister-in-law, Jack Kruzelock, Montana, Paul and Carol Kruzelock, Hilton Head, SC, one sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Wally Danko, Duquesne. Friends will be received Thursday March 3, 2022, from  1-4 & 6-8 BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday March 4, 2022 at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, St John The Baptist Catholic Church, Baden. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.
