Kera (Evansky) White

Kera Elaine White (Evansky) of Bartlett, Tennessee, formerly of Charleroi, PA, reposed in the Lord on Friday, July 19.  She was born to the late William L. and Dorothy Barna Evansky.  She married her soulmate, David White, on May 28, 1983.  They have one daughter, Kristianna (Nolan) Robinson of Edgar Springs, Missouri, and three beloved grandchildren, Eva, George, and Mary Lou Robinson.  Kera loved her fur babies and had many cherished dogs and cats over the years. 

In addition to her husband, daughter and grandchildren, she is survived by her brother, Very Reverend William (Debra) Evansky, of Sewickley. She was like a true sister to her sisters and brothers-in-law, and a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and loved by many other family members and friends. 

Kera was a 1979 graduate of Charleroi Area High School and attended the Washington Hospital School of Nursing.  She worked for many years as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania and Tennessee.  The love of church was embedded in her from an early age, and never left her. She loved singing in the church choir and honed her skills as a choir director under the tutelage of her brother. 

Kera was active as a parish member of St. George Orthodox Church in Bartlett, TN.  She loved cooking pierogies and making stuffed cabbages for her church family.

Visitation for Kera will take place on Wednesday July 24,2024 at Holy Ghost Orthodox Church, 210 Maplewood Avenue, Ambridge, PA from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will be in Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, PA.
