Joyce L. (Bufalini) Carey

Joyce L. Carey (Bufalini), age 91, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Harmony Township, passed away on March 4, 2025. Born on May 9, 1933 in Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Maria Finateri Bufalini. Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. “Jack” Carey; her daughter, Barbi (Carey) Zehnder; her siblings, Flora (Delio) Colonna, Dante (Elisabeth) Bufalini, and Nando Bufalini; and her son-in-law, Bruce Davies. She was also preceded in death by her in-laws, Mary A. (John) Carey, Mary Margaret (Timothy) McCarthy, and Martin Bryan Carey. She was a member of Ambridge Italian Women’s Club. She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Davies of Upper St. Clair, and her four grandchildren: Cara (Brad) Gilmore, Carey (Amanda) Zehnder, Kayla (Josh) Zehnder, and Bryce (Morgan) Davies. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandson, Jack Carey Zehnder, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and a dear family friend, Janet Duzicky. Joyce’s greatest joy in life was her family. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and the deep pride she took in her grandchildren. Per her wishes, services will be private. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday May 3, 2025 from 1-5 at her daughters home at 2211 Morrow Rd., Upper St. Clair, 15241.
