Joseph M. Kotula Sr.

Joseph M. Kotula Sr., 89, of Ambridge, died Saturday August 24, 2024, Concordia at Villa St Joseph. Born July 9, 1935, Ambridge, he was the son of the late Joseph G. and Margaret Lazorcsak Kotula. He was retired from LTV Steel, a member of St Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church and was a US Navy veteran. Surviving is his wife, Bessie Rosemeier Kotula, one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph M. Jr. and Maria Kotula, Harmony Twp., one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Scott Charlton, Ambridge, two grandchildren, Brooklyn Kotula and JJ Charlton, one brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Judy Kotula, Ambridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bernie Kotula. Friends will be received Thursday August 29, 2024 from 3:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES,INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Private interment will take place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
