Joseph D. Heiser

Joseph D. Heiser, 63, of Baden, died Saturday April 1, 2023, at home. Born April 23, 1959, Pittsburgh, he was the son of Hazel Lynch Sopko, Baden, and the late Frank D. Sopko. He was a member of the Ambridge Sportsmen’s, Baden American Legion and was a US Navy Seabees veteran. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Gayle Sopko, St Petersburg, FL, two sisters and brother-in-law, Judy Sulkowski, Butler, Sandy and Tom Prokop, Economy Boro, his beloved dog, Buddy and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday April 5, 2023 from 4:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Interment will take place at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. The Beaver County Special Unit will meet Wednesday at 4:00pm at the funeral home, to provide full military honors.
