Joseph P. Bichey

Joseph P. Bichey, 90, of Ambridge, died Thursday December 17,2020, at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born December 23,1929, McKees Rocks. He was the son of the late Michael and Mary Bichey. He was retired from US Steel, a member of Good Samaritan Church, PNA, Polish Falcons, Ambridge District Sportsmen's Club ,and was a US Army Veteran. Surviving are his wife, Janet Esseck Bichey, three sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Kim Bichey, Ambridge, Mickey and Susie Marotti, Columbus, Ohio, Rick Marotti, Baden, two daughters and son-in-law, Diane and Chris Stephany, North Hills, Sandy Marotti, Harmony Twp., one sister, Theresa Conti, Bellevue, nine grandchildren, Brad (Shayna) Bichey, Tyler Whitehead, Nick Bichey, Cory(Stephanie) Bichey, Jenny(Tim) Lipp, Spencer Whitehead, Mitch Marotti, Madison Marotti, Bryan Stephany, two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Bichey and Payeton Bichey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and Mark Bichey, one brother Andrew Bichey, one sister Sr. Paula Bichey and his mother-in-law, Josephine Esseck. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday December 22,2020 at Good Samaritan Church. Interment followed at Good Samaritan Cemetery. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES,INC., was in charge of arrangements.
