John J. Nelko

John “Jack” J. Nelko, 79, of Economy Boro, died Friday August 26, 2022, Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born October 16, 1942, Ambridge, he was the son of the late John and Anna Bodalec Nelko. He was retired from the former ISSI, Green Tree, member of St Luke Evangelist Parish/ Good Samaritan Church. Surviving are his wife, Judy Sovich Nelko, three sons and two daughters-in-law, Matthew Nelko, Economy Boro, Mark and Cynthia Nelko, Monroeville, John “Jake” and Aly Nelko, Tacoma, WA, one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and David Carr, Economy Boro, six grandchildren, Olivia, Anthony, Joshua, Alexis, Molly and Malcolm, one brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Betty Nelko, Baden, one sister, Barbara Pribulsky, Conway. Friends will be received Monday August 29, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Tuesday August 30, 2022 at 11:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm, St Luke Evangelist/ Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.
