John “Big John” Mrazovich, 95, a lifelong resident of Ambridge, died Sunday December 12, 2021 at the home of his daughter. Born March 14, 1926, Ambridge, he was the son of the late Vincent Mrazovich and Mary Pintar Mrazovich Bezuk. He was retired from American Bridge Company, where he was a union grievance man. A lifelong member of CFU, he played for many Tamburitzan Orchestras and was a master craftsman of Tamburitzan instruments and was also a Merchant Marine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Mrazovich and one brother Charles Mrazovich. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law-, Patricia “Putchie” Baker, Baden, Margaret and Anthony Sume, West Chester, PA, three grandchildren, Christopher and Larissa Baker, Sewickley, Kevin Baker, Mt. Lebanon, Shawn and Megan Mrazovich, Beaver Falls, one great-granddaughter, Juliana Mrazovich. There will be no viewing. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
