John F. McCullough Sr. Freedom John F. McCullough Sr., 82, of Freedom, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at home surround by his loving family. Born September 20, 1936, in Ambridge, a son of the late Thomas W. and Lovie Florence Starr McCullough. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Barbara Meckling McCullough; one son and daughter-in-law, John F. Jr. and Lisa McCullough; seven daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Randy Killmeyer, Frances McCullough and her companion, Paul Malinak, Barbara and Kurtis Miller, Jacqueline White, Caroline McCullough, Joan and Jeff Cettin and Mary Margaret Byrd and her companion, Bill Oehling; son-in-law, Larry Byrd; dear friend, Duane White; one sister, Margie Whited; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene, Detmar and Samuel McCullough and two sisters, Lovie (Sis) French and Stella DeCanio. As per his wishes, there will be no viewing. Arrangements handled by BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. The family wishes for anyone who would like, to donate blood to the American Red Cross.
