John Gudzan, 93, of Conway, died Thursday August 24, 2023, Heritage Valley Beaver. Born March 20, 1930, Ambridge, he was the son of the late Michael and Catherine Kusnirak Gudzan. He was retired from PennDOT, a member of Our Lady Peace of Peace Catholic Church, where is also served as an usher for many years. He was on the planning and zoning committee for the borough of Conway. Surviving are his wife, Joanne White Gudzan, one son, John Gudzan, Conway, five daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Arthur Petruccelli, Maryland, Jeanne and Terry Tutwiler, Harmony, Nancy and Robert Barnes, New Sewickley Twp., Tammy and Larry Trevisan, Bellevue, Cheryl and Mike Jones, Cranberry, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike and George Gudzan and one sister, Nancy McFarland. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 & 6-8, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held Tuesday August 29, 2023 at 10:00am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Beaver County Humane Society in his name.
