John M. Garbinsky

John M. Garbinsky Sr., 93, formerly of Ambridge, died Friday February 3, 2023, Kane Skilled Nursing Facility. Born August 15, 1929, Ambridge, he was the son of the late John and Katherine Slipko Garbinsky. He was retired from J&L Steel Tinplate Dept, and was a US Army Korean War veteran, serving with the 24th infantry. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, John M. Jr. and Natalie Garbinsky, Moon Twp., one daughter, Becky Burger, Georgia, two grandchildren, Krista Garbinsky, Pittsburgh and David Burger, Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Roman. There will be no viewing. Private interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
