JoAnn (Bruce) Iorfido

JoAnn Iorfido, 79, of Ambridge, died Saturday March 20,2021, at home. Born January 21,1942, Langeloth,Pa., she was the daughter of the late William T. and Maryann McFarland Bruce. She was retired from the Ambridge Area School District, a member of Good Samaritan Church and was an Ambridge Democratic committee woman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward V. "Idy" Iorfido, four brothers, Joseph, Francis, William and Marshall Bruce and two sisters, Margaret Bable and her twin sister Joyce Brown. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, James and Lori Iorfido, Conway, two daughters and sons-in-law, Fenice and David Durbin and Tina and Jim Miller, all of Ambridge, five grandchildren, Chelsey and Zachary Reinheimer, Brandon, Mia and Joseph Iorfido, Gianna Miller, two brothers and sister-in-law, Patrick L. Bruce, Koppel, James and Linda Bruce, Cambridge Springs,Pa., three sisters and brother-in-law, Jean and Paul Reynolds, Monaca, Marilyn Herman, Brighton Twp., Elsie "Kay" Seevers, Freedom, sister-in-law, Leola Bruce, Monaca, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gloria and Thomas Heckindorn, Ellwood City, godchild, Tammy Bonchi, Monaca, special friend, Denise Hennesey, Aliquippa and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday March 22,2021 from 3-7 BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES,INC.,1099 Maplewood Ave.,Ambridge, where a service will be held Tuesday March 23,2021 at 9:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.
