James E. Loebig Sr., 89, of Baden, died Friday February 3, 2023, Allegheny General Hospital. Born May 20, 1933, Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Robert and Mildred Eisenberg Loebig. He was retired from Neville Chemical Company, Neville Island, member of St Luke The Evangelist Parish/ Good Samaritan Church and was a US Army Korean War veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Loebig, his second wife, Dorothy Loebig, two brothers, Robert and Richard Loebig and a sister Mildred Lintner. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, James E. Jr. and Dina Loebig, Hedgesville, WV, Greg Kuchtjak, North Carolina, Edward and Kim Kuchtjak, Baden, two daughters and son-in-law, Lisa Loebig, Colorado Springs, CO, Christine and George McCartney, Baden, one brother and sister-in-law, John and Marlene Loebig, Pittsburgh, and six grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday February 8, 2023 from 3-7, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 9, 2023 at 10:30am, Good Samaritan Church, Everyone Please Meet At The Church. Private interment will take place at Good Samaritan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 600 River Ave., Suite 400, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15212.
