James J. Jahoda, 75, of Ambridge, a proud father, grandfather and Pittsburgh sports fan, passed away surrounded by love on Monday January 12, 2026. Born July 22, 1950, Sewickley, he was the son of the late Stephen M. and Ruth Hare Jahoda. For the majority of his life, Jim worked as a service technician at Total Equipment Company. Jim had a love for the game he enjoyed, golfing, bowling and faithfully cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Above all else, Jim cherished his role as a father and grandfather. He was also a member of St Luke the Evangelist/ Good Samaritan Church. He will be deeply missed by his son, Justin Jahoda, two daughters and sons-in-law, Anne Dohn and Danny Croft, Nicole and Mark Moravec, eight grandchildren, Angelina, John, Ciara, Logan, Peyton, Kayn, Jax and Josie, two brothers, Jerome and Michael Jahoda, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen (James) Prince, Susan Jahoda, Roxanne (Barry) Fitzgerald, Kim (Charles) Dworchak, one brother-in-law, Michael Huppenthal, one sister-in-law, Eva Jahoda and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert “Bucky” Jahoda, Martin Jahoda, William “Bill” Jahoda, Stephen Jahoda Jr. and Joseph Jahoda , five sisters, Donna Sharek, Carol Jahoda, Kathy Prokurat, Mary Lou Jahoda, Sandra “Pete” Huppenthal, brother-in-law, David Sharek and his cherished fiancée, Deborah McDonald. Friends will be received Thursday January 22, 2026 from 5:00pm until time of Blessing Service at 7:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge.
