Helen Ann (Vlasic) Reed

Helen Ann Vlasic Reed, 95, of Sewickley, died Thursday May 12, 2022, at home. Born February 27, 1927, Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Nestic Vlasic. Helen loved traveling, reading, watching the Steelers and telling stories about her days as a youth swim coach. She was especially proud of the years she spent teaching English in Japan and China. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Antoinette Vlasic, niece, Valerie (Gary) Stumpf, nephew, John (Cindy) Vlasic, great-nieces and nephews, Heather, Gary, Frank, John, Lindsey and a great-great niece, Sophie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and George Vlasic. As per Helen’s wishes, there will be no viewing.
