Helen (Marandos) Antinopoulos, 95, of Ambridge, peacefully passed on Sunday July 19, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Steve and Elizabeth (Cloranis) Marandos, and was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Greensburg, PA. Following high school, she worked in the office of Sears, until she married the love of her life Charles Antinopoulos for 57 years. They continued their life together in Ambridge, PA, where they worked side by side in their business of Charles Cleaners. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Antinopoulos. A loving devoted mother who took pride in her 2 children, Peter (Elizabeth) Antinopoulos, Richmond, VA and Penney (Greg) Karabin, Sewickley. The special highlight of her life was sharing it with 2 granddaughters, Alyson Antinopoulos, Charleston, SC and Julie Karabin, Harrisburg, PA. Helen was a lifelong member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Ambridge, where she was a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years and a member of the Ladies Philoptochos. She enjoyed cooking, reading, dancing, gardening, hosting family get togethers, playing cards with her husband and her canasta girls. Friends will be received Wednesday July 22, 2026 from 5:00pm-7:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday July 23, 2026 at 10:30am, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, with Fr. Radu Bordeianu, officiating. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery. Trisagion Service will be held Wednesday at 7:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
