Gwendolyn (Droz) Nelson

Gwendolyn Nelson, of Ambridge died Sunday July 27, 2025, at Concordia at  Villa St. Joseph. Born December 27, 1938, Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth & Gertrude (Wisnewski) Droz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Nelson and one son-in-law Paul Kirstein. Surviving are one son & daughter-in-law, David & Heather of Hopewell, two daughters & son-in-law, Rita & Steven Sarson, Louisville, KY & Heather Kirstein, Baden, PA. one sister Eleanor Crawford Economy Boro. Six grandchildren Jessica, Danielle, Michelle, Justin, Madison & David and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday July 29, 2025, from 3-7, at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge where a service will be held Wednesday July 30, 2025, at 10:30am. Internment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
