Glenn O. Gill Jr., 84, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 1, 2022, Rochester Manor. He was born June 21, 1938, East Liverpool, Ohio. He was preceded in death by so many, but he will be particularly happy to see his grandmother, Mary Emma Calder, and his mom, Marie B. Gill, again. He is survived by his daughter and best friend, Jodi Gill, his beloved pug, Taz, and his grand cats, Nova, Rosebud, and Mimi of the home in Ambridge. Glenn also had two other daughters, Lori Donaldson of Ohio, and Kristi Bradley of Florida, multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a chosen daughter, Kathy (Chris) Gibbs of Massachusetts. Glenn loved snuggling and sharing snacks with Taz, and watching the cats play ( especially when they got the “zoomies”). But, he especially loved watching Steeler football and old cowboy shows with Jodi and going to work with her at Penn State Beaver. Some pearls of wisdom from Glenn- vote democratic, support unions, coffee must be black and hot, always get dessert, never buy “ cheap gas”, and always fight for the little guy. There will not be a memorial or viewing, because Glenn believed, “ if they wanted to see me, they could have come to do so while I was alive”. Therefore, instead of flowers, please make a donation in his memory to the Activities Department at Rochester Manor and Villa. We are so grateful for the love and kindness they have shown us. BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, is in charge of arrangements.
