Georgiann Morelli Ammon, 65, of Harmony Township passed on Monday, May 15, 2023, at home, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born September 26, 1957 in Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Frank and Irene Barbara (Jurcak) Morelli. Georgiann was a Speech Language Pathologist at Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit, where she taught many students with disabilities how to communicate over her 35-year-long career. For many years, she helped to organize the Beaver County Special Olympics. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Arthur E. Ammon, Jr., of Harmony Township, as well as her children Amanda and Artie. She was the beloved sister of Annette and George Mott, John V. and Paula Morelli, as well as a cherished cousin to John and Carol Papasodero. Georgiann leaves behind many dearly loved nieces and nephews, as well as three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law. She loved digging her toes in the sand at the beach, enjoying the sunshine in her pool with her dogs, and taking trips to Disney with her family and friends. Friends will be received Thursday May 18, 2023 from 4pm-8pm at BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC,1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10:00am, Good Samaritan Church, EVERYONE IS ASKED TO PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow at Economy Cemetery.
