George E. Fitzgerald, 72, of Baden, died Wednesday March 4, 2026, Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. Born March 15, 1953, Sewickley, he was the son of the late Earl and Jean Spencer Fitzgerald and step-mother, Grace Fitzgerald. He was retired from Ryerson, Leetsdale. He loved the outdoors, tinkering with tractors and was an avid hunter. Surviving is his wife, Jeanne Pugliano Fitzgerald, one son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Nikki Fitzgerald, Wyoming, two daughters and son-in-law, Lauren and John Smith, Cranberry, Ali Fitzgerald, Bellevue, two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Taylor Zadrozny, Kentucky, Ryan and Kelsey Zadrozny, Cranberry, seven grandchildren, Finnley, Cross, Odin, Crew, Logan, Rowen, and Liv, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Barry and Roxanne Fitzgerald, Fair Oaks, Earl and Paula Fitzgerald, Economy, three sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Richard Lacher, Conway, Debbie and George Vasilakis, Economy, Jackie Fitzgerald, Conway, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and step-mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Fitzgerald. Friends will be received Sunday March 8, 2026 from 1-5, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held on Monday March 9, 2026 at 12:30pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm, Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford, for their care and compassion they gave George.
