Obituary

George W. “Buddy” Benna, 78, of Harmony Twp., died Thursday May 18, 2023, Concordia at Villa St Joseph. Born June 27, 1944, Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late George W. Sr. and Elsie Lohrey Benna. He was retired from Valspar and was a US Marine Veteran during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Benna and one sister, Darlene Noar. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Kimberly Hickler, Georgia, one daughter, Jacquelyn S. Mickey, Harmony Twp., eight grandchildren, Hunter, Page, Lily, Abigail, Bella, Jay, Christian and Heaven, one brother, Richard Benna, Pittsburgh, one sister and brother-in-law, Charmaine and Bernard Constantino, Monroeville, two special nieces, Kim Schatz and Cheri Skertich and many other nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday May 27, 2023 from 10:00am-12:00pm, BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will follow at 12:00pm.
