Frank D. Maruca Ambridge Frank D. Maruca, 71, of Ambridge died Saturday, September 7, 2019, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born May 22, 1948, in Sewickley, the son of the late Satino ‘Frank’ and Frances Escobar Maruca. He formerly worked at HH Robertson in the mailroom. He was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church and the Musicians Union. He played bass with many local bands including Hattie Taylor & Moving On and a few years in the 1970s with the Jaggerz. Surviving are his sister, Beverly Maruca, Am-bridge; cousins, Kathleen and Bill Wickline, Hopewell, Twilla McKittrick, Center, Jeanette and Melvin McFarland, Baden and Pete and Mary Lou Scarfone, Economy Borough; In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Serafina Maruca. Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge, where a service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Good Samaritan Church, Ambridge. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.
