Eugenia (Dschuhan) Eross, 82, of Ambridge, died Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver. She was born August 12, 1938 in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. Jean was the daughter of the late Theodore and Malwiene Ashenbrener Dschuhan. She was a member of the Good Samaritan Church and Christian Mothers. Alongside working at St. Veronica Catholic School and Ambridge Area School District for many years, Jean spent countless hours volunteering. She enjoyed baking, taking care of her flowers, playing cards with her friends, and watching Hallmark movies. Surviving are her two sons, Thomas Eross and Bob Eross of Hopewell Township and two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Joe Dragonjac of Chippewa Township and Amy and David Barcelona of Huntertown, IN. Jean has eight surviving grandchildren: T.J., Breanna, Victoria, Mikaila, Joey, Alexis, Kylie, and Zachary, one brother and sister-in-law, Val W. and Mary-Kay Dschuhan of Leetsdale, a special nephew, Dan Dschuhan of Herndon, VA, and her very good friend, Kay Rudis of Ambridge, who was more like a sister and a huge blessing to Jean and her family. In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by two brothers, Victor and Anthony and one sister, Elsa. A special thank you from the family to all the doctors, nurses and staff at Good Samaritan Hospice and Concordia at Villa St. Joseph for providing such loving and compassionate care. Friends will be received Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 4-8 at Bohn-Matich Funeral and Cremation Services, In., 1099 Maplewood Ave, Ambridge. A service will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 at 10:00 am at Good Samaritan Church. Interment will follow St John The Baptist Parish Cemetery, Monaca. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Samaritan Hospice or Concordia at Villa St. Joseph in her name.
